Sidi Hajj Idris, the blessed servant of Allah, was born in 1930 in the esteemed city of Al-Ayoun, Morocco, and belongs to the noble lineage of Idrissi Sharifs.
In the early 1950s, Sidi Hajj Idris embraced the Tariqa of the Habibiya in the presence of Sheikh Sidi Muhammad ibn al-Habib, may Allah sanctify his soul. Accompanied by a dedicated group of fuqarah, they were led by the esteemed Muqaddam Sidi Muhammad Belghazi, who served as a muqaddam in the city of Al-Ayoun.
In 1970, Sidi Hajj Idris migrated to the city of Oujda, where he established a Majlis dedicated to the spiritual nourishment of the fuqarah. With the permission of the beloved Sheikh, he took on the noble duty of being a Muqaddam, guiding and uplifting the hearts of seekers on the path.
Under the leadership of Sidi Hajj Idris, this Majlis continues to shine as a beacon of light and spiritual guidance. Through his wisdom and unwavering dedication, Sidi Hajj Idris serves the fuqarah, illuminating their paths and fostering a deep connection with the divine presence.
May Allah shower His blessings upon Sidi Hajj Idris, preserving him and granting him abundant blessings. May his Majlis flourish eternally, inspiring and uplifting the hearts of the fuqarah as they journey on the sacred path of spiritual awakening and divine proximity.
Sidi Hajj Muhammad Bel-Qurshi, the son of Arif-Billah Sheikh Muhammad Bel-Qurshi bin Hassani bin Ahmad bin Bouziane al-Idrissi al-Darqawi, was born in the province of Errachidia in 1944. He was raised in the nurturing environment of the Zawiya of Tourug, where constant remembrance of Allah prevailed.
At a young age, Sidi Hajj Muhammad accompanied his father to embark on the path of the Tariqa under the mentorship of Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib. It was under the combined guidance of his father and Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib that he embraced the noble Wird, which encompasses the teachings and practices of the Tariqa. Additionally, under the tutelage of the renowned Faqih Muhammad ibn al-Maki Alawi of Tizigirine, he memorized the Quran.
Following the passing of Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib, Sidi Hajj Muhammad reaffirmed his allegiance to the Tariqa and took the hand of his father, who held the honorable position of Khalifa within the Tariqa.
With unwavering devotion and profound insight, Sidi Hajj Muhammad diligently oversees the affairs of the Fuqara and the Tariqa, seeking blessings and guidance from Allah. May Allah, the Most High, protect him and shower him with abundant blessings in all his noble endeavors.
Sidi Hajj Muhammad, born in 1944 in Kenifra, Morocco, was blessed with a father who served as a Muqaddam of Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib during their lifetimes. In his early childhood, he dedicated himself to studying in mosques, immersing himself in the memorization of the noble Quran. Continuing his educational journey, he attended primary school in Azrou, followed by secondary school in Khenifra. Sidi Hajj Muhammad pursued higher studies at Moulay Ismail High School in Meknes and later in Rabat, where he obtained his baccalaureate in Arabic and French. During his academic pursuits, he also delved into the English language.
In 1970, Sheikh Sidi Muhammad ibn al-Habib had a vision and bestowed upon Sidi Hajj Muhammad the honor of overseeing the esteemed zawiya. During a sacred pilgrimage journey, Sidi Hajj Muhammad had the privilege of accompanying Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib on his third and final Hajj. Enroute to Hajj, Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib peacefully passed away in Blida, Algeria. In fulfillment of Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib's wishes, Sidi Hajj Muhammad diligently ensured his final resting place in the zawiya.
May Allah bless the caretaker of the zawiya, grant him a long life, and allow us to benefit from his wisdom and guidance.
Sidi Hajj Bashir ibn Ismail comes from the lineage of the righteous Wali, Abdul Rahman Al-Faqiqi. His ancestry traces back to the region of Faqiq in Morocco, which later settled in Laghouat, Algeria. He belongs to the noble Prophet ﷺ through the Idrissi lineage.
Born on December 16, 1946, in the city of Laghouat, Sidi Hajj Bashir served as a teacher of the Arabic language for many years. He had the privilege of serving Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib's appointed Muqaddam, Sidi El Hajj Ali bin Manad, and took the Tariqa from him, becoming one of his closest mureeds.
After the passing of Sidi Hajj Ali bin Manad in 1991, Sidi Hajj Bashir assumed the role of Muqaddam of the Tariqa and received the allegiance of the fuqara in Laghouat.
To this day, he remains the dedicated Muqaddam of the Tariqa. Sidi Hajj Bashir is known for his humility, compassion, generosity, and love for the fuqarah. His primary concern is the support and promotion of the Tariqa Habibiya and also oversees the beautiful Zawiya Habibiya in Laghouat.
We pray to Allah to grant him success in all endeavors. May he continue to spread light and blessings as Muqaddam, guiding the Fuqarah and nurturing their connection with Allah.
